What to Expect After Your Appointment

Typically, we recommend removing hair extensions within 2-3 months, depending on the condition of your hair and scalp.

With proper care and maintenance, your extensions can be used for up to a year, with at least three reapplications.

Hair extensions not only make your hair look longer but also add volume. Therefore, after using extensions for 2-3 months and removing them, you might notice some hair loss. An average person loses about 100-150 strands of hair daily, and within 3-4 weeks after removal, everything should return to normal.

Since the extensions add hair to your scalp, you might experience some pulling or discomfort, which varies from person to person. Typically, this discomfort subsides within 2-3 days, but sensitive individuals may feel uncomfortable for 2-3 weeks.

If you wish to remove the extensions, we recommend visiting our salon. Other salons might cut the hair instead of using rubber bands to hold the extensions.

For those with thin hair, we do not recommend keeping extensions for more than 2 months as it can cause more hair loss when washing. The optimal period for maintaining extensions is usually 2-3 months.

With proper care, you can remove and retouch your extensions after 2-3 months.

Hair Extension Care Instructions:

When washing your hair, apply plenty of shampoo to your scalp and use conditioner or treatment on the extensions. It is recommended to use a treatment as the final step after shampooing. For longer-lasting extensions, we recommend washing your hair while standing.

1. Wet your hair thoroughly and apply treatment to the lower part of the extensions.
2. Then, lather shampoo in your hands and apply it only to the top of your head.
3. Rinse thoroughly with water and apply a hair treatment or mask to the lower extensions.

Make sure to dry your hair completely.

Use a hairdryer with alternating cool and hot air, drying from the ends to the scalp. Do not leave your hair wet or let it air dry. Inadequate drying can cause the braided sections to loosen, leading to hair loss or tangling. Please be cautious.

Applying hair essence after shampooing can help maintain your extensions.

When sleeping, braid your hair into two braids or one side braid.

When going swimming or to the beach, tie your hair before entering the water. Never go in with your hair loose, as saltwater can cause severe tangling that is difficult to undo.
